Straighten Your Smile With

Clear Aligners

If you never had braces as a kid and want to straighten your teeth without them, you might consider clear aligners. Sunrise Dental offers expertise with clear aligners and Invisalign to make you proud of your smile. If you’re considering teeth alignment, schedule a consultation at one of the Moses Lake, Washington, locations to see if you’re a good candidate.

What Options Do I Have For Misaligned Teeth?

If you have crooked teeth, you have several straightening options from which to select. The dentists at Sunrise Dental can help you make the best decision for your mouth structure and lifestyle.

  • Braces: Traditional braces use wires and brackets to apply pressure and gradually pull teeth into alignment. Metal brackets are bonded to your teeth to hold the braces in place.
  • Clear Aligners: Clear aligners use a series of invisible, removable mouthpieces to shift your teeth into position. Although they were once only appropriate for minor adjustments, clear aligners have undergone advancements to handle more cases of crooked teeth than ever.
  • Surgery: Braces or clear aligners can’t fix certain severe jaw alignment issues. You may need surgery on the jaw to correct the problem.

How Do Clear Aligners Work?

At your first consultation with one of the dentists at Sunrise Dental, he performs an exam and takes X-rays to determine if you’re a good candidate for the treatment. Then, he can take an impression of your teeth to send to the manufacturer, and show you the treatment plan and what your teeth will look like afterward.

Your dentist sends the digital image of your mouth to the manufacturer who designs the mouthpieces. Once the mouthpieces come in, you wear each one for a few weeks before switching to the next.

You wear the aligners for 22 hours per day, taking them out to eat and brush. They progressively move your teeth into position over the course of treatment. You also schedule regular check-ins with the dentist to make sure the adjustments are happening correctly.

What are the Benefits of Clear Aligners?

Clear aligners are invisible. Adults who want straighter teeth but feel too self-conscious about braces may choose clear aligners because of how discreet they are. The transparent mouthpieces fit tightly over teeth, making them barely noticeable.

The aligners are also removable. Because you can take them out to eat, no foods are off-limits. You don’t have to worry about food getting stuck or damaging the aligners.

You don’t have to make as many dentist appointments with clear aligners either. Because your dentist doesn’t have to make physical adjustments to the aligners, you only need to see him to check your progress occasionally.

Straighter teeth are just a click or a phone call away. Contact Sunrise Dental to schedule a consultation to see if clear aligners are right for you.
